Gayle Long

Gayle Long is a financial advisor with over 30 years experience in the investment management industry. She has used financial planning and advisory services as a cornerstone of her practice since 1984. She holds the title of Accredited Wealth Management Advisor® and holds securities registrations Series 7,63, 65 and insurance licenses. Her practice is focused on assisting clients to meet lifestyle goals, wealth accumulation, and planning for retirement. Her clientele includes a diversified group from those interested in individual planning to company retirement and bonus plans to inter-generational wealth building and education plans.

Gayle has spoken to numerous client groups, organizations, and broker dealer conferences nationwide as well as the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. She has presented at the Nashville IAFP, the South Florida IAFP Regional Conference, and the Roundtable Broker Dealer network with participants from over 30 regional brokerage firms, detailing concepts, implementation and strategies for asset allocation. Her clients include private, corporate, trust, not-profit and international accounts for portfolio management, asset allocation, wealth preservation, and financial management.

Prior to Long Financial Services,an independent advisory since 2002, Gayle was recruited by Merrill Lynch in 1995 to open the Maui office with her husband Don (deceased).

Gayle is the currently serving her third term as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hale Makua Health Services Foundation. She served as a Trustee of the Hale Makua Health Services Board of Trustees for two terms and was instrumental in adopting institutional management of their defined benefit/401k and Foundation, substantially reducing their fees. She was appointed to the Maui County Grants Review Commission and the Governance Commission by the Maui County Council, and is a former member of the Kahului Rotary Club. Gayle is also a past District Chairman of SCORE, former Vice President of Big Brothers/Big Sisters Maui, and is an ongoing volunteer for many Maui nonprofit and educational groups and organizations. Gayle has also taught financial workshops through the Maui Community College VITEC and AARP as a community service.
